What is the prognosis for mesothelioma?

Like most cancers, the prognosis of this disease often depends on how it is diagnosed early and how it is processed. Unfortunately, mesothelioma is often at a stage where cure is impossible. Many people succumb to the disease in the year of diagnosis.
